This form with all requested information must be received by the Scholarship Committee not later than February 5, 2012.  A current high school or college transcript is mandatory.  Applications received without a current transcript will be discarded.

If you are unable to copy/print the .pdf file of the application, send an email to rbillman1@nc.rr.com to request the .doc application which will be emailed to you with detailed instructions.  Requests for applications must be received by January 15th, 2012.

Your application for admission to The Ohio State University with all supporting documents must be received by the university not later than December 1, 2011 to be considered for the full range of scholarships.  We can make no exceptions.

Scholarship applications will be accepted from students accepted for admission to The Ohio State University who are:

a) nominated by current, active, members of the Sandhills Alumni Club of North Carolina,

b) nominated by The Ohio State University (Top 25% of high school graduating class), or

c) students living in the following counties of North Carolina:  Cumberland, Moore, Sampson, Bladen, Robson, Hoke, Richmond, Montgomery, Randolph, Chatham, Scotland, Lee, or Harnett who are eligible for the National Buckeye Scholarship (Top 40% of high school graduating class with an ACT score of at least 28 or an SAT score of at least 1260).  

d) Current Ohio State students from the counties in “c” above who have a current  cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 as shown on university transcript / grade report.
